ＡＵＢＥＲＧＩＮＥＳ

There are different kinds of warriors: those who chose this life for honour, revenge, justice, money, out of necessity or because they're good at it, those who were thrust into it and had no choice in the matter. Wars are a constant, and you're fighting one. Maybe you're an elven bowsman, a Viking or a Highlander fighting against the British, maybe you're fighting WWI or WWII, or something rather more futuristic. Maybe it's a war of attrition, or a Blitzkrieg, a one fought between armies or by civilians, maybe it's not the kind of war that is fought with weapons but with words.

Either way, you're at war.

Maybe you revel in it, or maybe it's wearing you down. Maybe you've been injured, or have just returned from the battlefield with your blood pumping. If you're about to leave, better say goodbye to your loved ones...

War is never kind.

you work for a government, probably your own, or you're in corporate espionage. maybe you're a double agent. maybe you do it for the money, the lifestyle, for yourself or for crown and country. maybe you set out to become a spy deliberately, were drafted into it or ended up in the business by accident.

whatever your motivation, however you ended up here, whoever you're working for, one thing is for certain: information is your currency, and trust is hard to come by.
