Even with her head tucked low and her eyes closed, the sheer number of the things is enough to disorient her even a little bit.
Peter's yelling is how she snaps out of it, and while it may be true that it's not his most impressive moment, she's scrambling out of her cover all the same to make her way over to him. Apparently, someone's deployed some smoke screens to go with the flashbangs, but she follows the sound of his voice quickly enough to be able to swoop down, her entire body almost touching the ground, and sweep a phantom across the feet with a kick just in time to interrupt the copycat's attempt at attacking Peter. ]
