[ it may be weird ( and suga's got a strange feeling it could get weirder ), but he's known daichi too long now to abandon him when he clearly needs his help. he knows he's a pretty accommodating person most of the time, but even he knows that he wouldn't agree to such a thing if it wasn't for his best friend. not that he'd ever expected to be presented with such a request from daichi, but that's neither here nor there. ]

Didn't I just say I was? [ truthfully, it's easier to go along with it and not think about the inanity when he sees the hopeful look in the other boy's eyes. he won't tease him about it now, but the start to their trip is definitely not something suga's forgetting any time soon. maybe if it all goes off without a hitch — which is still a big maybe at this point — they can look back and laugh about all of this.

[ no matter! he'll just take a deep breath and roll up his sleeves the same way he always does when he's getting ready to start a new project. normally that meant strategizing something for class, or volleyball, but how different could pretending to date someone be? ]
