[ Things in NYC were actually going fantastic. Isaac wasn't loving the cold weather that was rapidly approaching (he was always cold anyway) but he bundled up, bought more sweaters from Grandpas R Us and was actually kind of thriving there. He had a job as a busboy in a little cafe not far from the apartment he shared with Kate.

He was even trying to help Kate out with the superhero thing.

Which is why they are fake!married.

Okay, he doesn't really understand that part, but Kate had said they were going to be fake!married and he doesn't think it's such a bad situation to find himself in, so he goes along with it.

Let's be honest. This is Kate's plan. Isaac just says 'yes, dear'. He's good at that part.]

[ Kate doesn't really do the undercover thing much. She doesn't wear a mask and she even shares her code name.

Faking a marriage did seem like a funny addition in her investigation on her dad's shady dealings with real estate and all of that. Since they were to go to a performance at Carnegie Hall, she had even gotten Isaac dressed up nicely. Not a bad thing either.

She adjusts her shawl over her shoulders before she takes his arm upon entrance to the historic hall. It's mingling hour before the actual concert. ]
