MAGICAL COP AU

you are a cop. you're also magical. the two are not unrelated: while wizards are not particularly common, someone's got to make sure that the arm of the law extends also to the supernatural, and that's where you (and your partner?!) come in. whether it's chasing down rogue wizards, making peace between supernatural entities, or interrogating ghosts that have witnessed crime, getting coffee or a pint at the pub after hours, you have your hands full.

just don't make too many wand jokes, keep property damage to a minimum, and don't forget to do the paperwork at the end of the day.

[ worked so hard too, poor boo. Erik's not going to tell him anything though. it's good if the suspicions of the police lay elsewhere. ]

[That he'll be utterly devastated. Erik's never been one to let liars go unpunished. But Petre always expects the worst.]

[ orders them new round of drinks with a hand motion. ]

[ head tilt. ]

[ he got his information. he could go now. ]

[ he would finish his drink first though. he just got it. ]

[You wouldn't leave the demon alone, Erik! What if you run into a shifter again? You won't have him to tell you one from the other.]

[ that would be unpleasant. ]

I can think of a few things I could wrap up in an hour's time.

[ something more productive than sucking up to a demon that prefers him unpredictable anyway. ]
